Make a seat-state matrix

List the states you actually use: all seats up, one section folded, both sections folded, seats removed, and any cargo well open or closed. For each state, record floor width, depth, rail and hinge locations, belt access, side trim, and hatch clearance.

Reject a liner that protects one state by blocking a latch or creating a trip edge in another. Raised edges are helpful only when they remain supported and do not interfere with a moving seat. The product’s vehicle-specific diagram controls over a generic SUV label.
